THE Music Pool, the county's community music charity, will be bringing some seasonal musical cheer to shoppers at a major Hereford supermarket this weekend. On Saturday, from 12 noon until 2pm, customers at Sainsbury's will be serenaded by the popular choir The Garrick Singers and also by Robbie and the Ripples, the string trio specialising in close harmony and 60s classics.

HEREFORD Cathedral's Advent Fair opens at 6pm on Friday, December 13 with a special evening of seasonal gifts, entertainment and refreshments.
