PYRENEAN FUN DAY FOR DOGS – The Wales and Border Counties Pyrenean Mountain Dog Association annual fun day will be held at the Hopelands Hall and field in Weobley on Sunday from noon. All breeds are welcome to enter the parades and fun classes. This is a super afternoon out for all the family with competitions, tombola and refreshments, rain or shine. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL – A large cast from Weobley High School will be performing the musical Bugsy Malone from Tuesday, July 8, to Friday, July 11, in the school hall at 7pm.

PARISH COUNCIL – The parish council meets this evening (Thursday) at 7.30pm, in the community centre. As always, members of the public are encouraged to attend, and you will have the opportunity to raise any concerns or comments on any agenda item with the councillors present.

CHARITY CONCERT- The Talgarth Male Voice Choir will perform in Weobley on Friday 6th of June at a Grand Charity Concert in St. Peter and St. Paul’s parish church following a wine reception at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Proceeds will go to the Fowler Foundation for Children in Cambodia, Vietnam and Rwanda. Tickets are £10 incl. and will be available from Symonds and Co in Hereford, The Weobley Book shop, Gill’s Gifts in Leominster and Russell Baldwin and Bright in Kington.
