A NEW storm is to hit the country later today (January 21), with Herefordshire not escaping unscathed. We are now reporting Storm Isha's impact live here.
Storm Isha will bring gusts of winds of at least 50mph to the county by the evening with rain adding to the mix.
However, for other parts of the country, the wind speed could even reach 80mph.
The Met Office now has an amber weather warning for wind which is in place from 6pm this evening until 6am tomorrow (January 22).

The earlier yellow warning is still valid until midday tomorrow.
According to BBC weather, it will start to get blustery at around 1pm today (January 21).
This will increase as the day progresses, with the rain set to be heavy during the evening.
The Met Office warning says: "Within the warning area, many places are likely to see southwesterly winds gust to around 50 to 60 miles per hour and gusts may reach 60 to 70 miles per hour for exposed locations.
"There remains a chance of stronger winds impacting parts of this area for a time but this aspect remains uncertain with further updates to the warning to be expected."
Earlier this month, Storm Henk caused flooding chaos across Herefordshire recently, leaving roads closed and people stranded in water.
