A HEREFORDSHIRE man will have to pay compensation after he smashed a county hairdresser's window.
Scott Smith, of Stanfield, Weston Beggard, caused £1,504.80 worth of damage to Hairport Hairdressers in Kington at 6.40pm on December 10.
Prosecuting solicitor, Mark Hambling told Hereford Magistrates Court that the 29-year-old injured his hand.
"When interviewed, he had no recollection but said he could have been responsible for the damage," said Mr Hambling.

The court heard that there was a football match on TV on the day in question, which would have been England's World Cup quarter-final tie against France.
In defence, Chris Reid said his client, who pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage, was upfront having been presented with the evidence.
"He made a first payment of £100," said Mr Reid.
"He suffered from a breakdown in May and lost his employment. That remains the situation today.
"He relies on his family for support."
Smith was told to pay £150 in compensation; however, no court costs were imposed.
