Ross-on-Wye 22 pts Bristol Aeroplane Co 20.

ROSS staged a dramatic revival with 12 points in the last five minutes earning the win which took them into the top half of the Gloucester 2 table.

A converted try gave the visitors an early led but Ross hit back with a Craig Powell penalty before a fine move involving Denver Rollings, Matt Redman, Dan Field and Gavin Oates played man-of-the-match Casey Morgan in for a score.

Powell added the extra points to give Ross a 10-7 interval lead.

The Bristol side’s big forwards began to dominate and, with two penalties and a converted try, the visitors seemed to be well on the way to victory as the game entered the last phase.

But then Chay Brine collected his own kick ahead to score wide out.

Drives from Redman, Ali Rees and Oates took Ross close to the visitors’ line and Rollings squeezed over for a score with the game in over-time.

Powell kept his nerve to kick the conversion with the referee’s immediate final whistle signalling an unlikely home victory.
