GARNONS are the GB Liners Marches League champions for the third time in four years after a six-wicket win at Bartestree & Lugwardine .

Luke Sparrow (15) and Matthew Deem (13) gave the home side a solid start but, apart from Jack Aldous- Fountain (32 not out), none of the other batsmen could get in as James Bolton (3-22) and Jon Andrews (4-24) bowled them out for 92.

Guy Pearson-Gregory struck six fours and a six in an unbeaten 48 to see the visitors home.

Crickhowell clinched runners- up spot and condemned Dales to relegation with a resounding 10-wicket success while Goodrich are third after beating Glangrwyney by 77 runs.

Kington will also be relegated after going down by 31 runs to Luctonians.

They will be replaced in Division One by Hay and Shobdon who met in a dramatic encounter which saw the border club sneak home by one wicket in a highscoring game.

Ben Probert (53) top-scored for champions Shobdon as they racked up 233-9.

Despite 76 from Johnny Daw, Troy Looms (5-37) looked to have bowled the home side to victory but Tim Davies (42) put Hay back on track and they sneaked home in the final over.

Hay’s success means that Marden , who suffered a surprise loss to Llandrindod Wells, finish third.

Brockhampton 3rd clinched the Division Three title with a crushing win over Goodrich 2nd, who are relegated, while Presteigne are also promoted after winning at Builth Wells 2nd. Abergavenny Beavers whose only defeat in the seven games they completed out of a possible 18 came on the final day at Woolhope 2nd, take the Division Four title with Hereford City Lads Club also promoted.

Brockhampton 4th completed a club double by taking the Division Five title from runnersup Glangrwyney 2nd.
