BROMYARD rower Luke Almond has scooped £1,000 scholarship from the University of Worcester.
The 23-year-old is on the fringe of GB’s 2012 Paralympic squad and could be called up if an injury occurs.
After only rowing for five years, Almond made his GB rowing debut just 12 months ago.
