RUNNING clubs from across the county took part in the 15-hour virtual relay against teams from across Wales and further afield recently.
Some 58 teams took part in the Cardiff Gait 15-Hour Challenge with just one runner from each club allowed to be active at each time before passing on the virtual baton.
It was down to each team how long runners took part in their leg in the challenge which took place between 5am and 8pm.
The winning team, who managed to run 140 miles was Aberystwyth AC.
Hereford Couriers 'A team' finished in fifth place overall with an overall mileage of 130.51 which was helped by a fantastic performance from Barry Reynolds who covered 9.98 miles in his hour slot.
Reynolds was joined by Ryan Knight, Andy Tyler, Dean Jones, Darren Broady and Ben Skinner who all recorded over nine miles on their legs of the event.
Paul Jones, Graeme Walker, Izzy Axford, Kyle Dovey, Sheryl Evans, Ryan Lawrence, Mark Hookins and Jake Cullum-Hollins all put in the miles to help the team.
