HEREFORD fans Andy Boucher and Huan Davies can feel assured that they played a part in the team’s victory at Wrexham last Saturday.

The pair paid £100 to travel on the team coach and, in addition to their fee, were informed by club skipper Luke Graham that they also had to sing a song to entertain the team.

This was hardly likely to prove a problem for Boucher, son of the legendary Danny Lee whose song ‘Hereford United we all love you’ is an essential part of the club’s history.

Seats are on offer on the team coach for the FA Trophy trip to Ebbsfleet on November 24 which, as the Bulls are travelling on the Friday, will also include overnight accommodation and a chance to train with the team - for details call the club on 0844 2761939.

Remember, though, that you will have to be prepared to sing.

l TWO former Hereford United stalwarts are looking to do their bit to support the cash-strapped club.

Former player Gareth Davies and ex-club physio Simon Shakeshaft are on the look-out for match-worn club shirts to add to their collections.

“We are prepared to pay the market value for the shirts but would then expect the vendor to make a donation to the club in return,” said Shakeshaft.

Davies is looking for a number four or five shirt from 1992-5, the period when he starred for the Bulls before a big-money transfer to Crystal Palace. Shakeshaft is seeking ‘anything of interest’ from the period prior to 2006.

He is also researching the club’s kit history and anyone with any relevant information, or with any shirts they would be prepared to sell to him or to Davies, should contact him by email at shakey252@me.com
