A SLICE of life in Tudor England is coming to north Herefordshire this weekend.
The Tudor and Stuart Living History Society will carry out demonstrations and displays for all the family at Croft Castle, near Yarpole, on July 19 and 20.
A Tudor seamstress will be showing off her embroidery skills, an apothecary will show how herbs and spices were used in the 16th century and a costumed bee keeper will talk about the importance of bees during the period.
There will also be a demonstration of Tudor manuscript writing and a sugar painting workshop for families to take part in.
Animal lovers can meet a traditionally-dressed falconer and recorder players will perform Renaissance music in the church.
The Tudors Are Coming runs from 11am to 5pm both days. Normal admission prices apply.
