A BASKETMAKER from Herefordshire is hitting the road in a bid to promote local crafts.
Jenny Pearce, from Canon Frome, wants to encourage shoppers to buy locally-made gifts this Christmas.
The craftswoman has joined forces with four counterparts from Worcestershire to launch an alternative Christmas gift show.
Jenny makes baskets, chairs and bags out of willow, and is a member of the Worcestershire Guild of Designer Craftsmen.
The others are based around Malvern and Bewdley, and produce ceramics, prints, lampshades and jewellery.
