FOOD from both sides of the border will be served up at next month’s Kington Food Festival.

The town’s eighth food festival, organised by Kington Chamber of Trade, runs from 9am to 2.30pm on December 1.

There will be 56 trade stands taking part, a marquee, live music, the chance to meet Father Christmas and free parking.

“Eight years ago I struggled to get 18 stands,” said Pam Peek, who organises the annual event.

“The aim is to be a ‘shop window’ for new and old producers and bring people into Kington."
