The River Café in Glasbury is up for sale.

The riverside cafe is being sold by owners Jane Hughes and Charlie McCubbin, through McCartneys – with a guide price of £575,000.

Jane, who bought the restaurant near Hay-on-Wye eight years ago, said the couple has decided to sell up after “achieving their goal” of turning the small venue around.

The cafe received praise and a four-out-a-five rating from food critic AA Gill in a Sunday Times review last year.
