ROYALTY will find out more about the training of apprentices in Herefordshire with a visit to the county.
The Princess Royal will visit Herefordshire Group Training Association (HGTA) on Monday (February 13) to see how local apprentices are trained and developed.
HGTA is owned and controlled by Herefordshire’s major employers and the visit coincides with its 45th anniversary.
Philip Round, chief executive, said: “We are delighted that The Princess Royal has expressed an interest in our work and will be honoured to show the training resources that local employers have developed along with their determination to be self-sufficient for future skills.
"Despite difficult times local employers have taken on record numbers of young people for apprenticeships this year.”
