There will be a Flicks in the Sticks showing of the classic "To Kill a Mocking Bird", at Lady Emily Hall in Tarrington, on Saturday 12th November, starting at 7:30pm.

This is a much-loved, critically-acclaimed, classic trial film. It exhibits a dramatic tour-de-force of acting, a portrayal of childhood innocence (told from a matured adult understanding), and a progressive, enlightened 60s message about racial prejudice, violence, moral tolerance and dignified courage. It stars Gregory Peck, who won a well-deserved Best Actor Award for his performance.

Tickets are £4.50 on the door. There are plenty of seats available and ample car parking at the rear of the hall. There will be wine and other refreshments available at the half-time interval.
