CRAFTY CAFE - Crafty Cafe launched at St Peter’s Centre in Peterchurch last Wednesday with local artist Amanda Cross helping primary school children to create holiday books – a hardback book full of ideas, puzzles and plain pages for their own creations. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch while parents enjoyed a moment's peace with a bite to eat at the cafe, all followed by Shepherd’s ice cream and a play in the neighbouring park to make the most of the sun. Crafty Cafe runs throughout the summer holidays from 1pm-2.30pm each Wednesday. Places can be booked on 01981 550372 and sessions cost £5 per child including lunch and ice cream.
