FREE CONCERT OF WORDS AND MUSIC - A light hearted evening of words and music is being performed by the Sing for your Soul community choir in Orcop church tomorrow (Friday), at 7.30pm. The programme includes rounds, popular hymns, Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus and two prayers by John Rutter plus readings by Gervaise Phinn, Jerome K Jerome, John Betjeman and William Shakespeare. Appropriately, a poem by Frances Horovitz who is buried in Orcop churchyard is also included. We promise it will be a fun evening finishing with a glass of wine and light refreshments. A free concert with donations invited towards St Michael’s Hospice and Orcop church.
