WHIST DRIVES - After 30 years of organising whist drives in the village hall, and during a large period of that time, when there were two events each week, organiser and MC Ted Vaughan has decided to retire. Over this time money was raised for many charities and also for the hall fund. These events became very popular and many new friendships were formed, all due to Ted’s unfailing committment to them.

SNAIL RACING - Tomorrow (Friday) in Pembridge Village Hall. Entrance by racecard, £1, available on the door. A ploughman’s supper will be available for £3 but n bar – bring your own.
