WHIST - At December 4’s whist drive in the village hall, prizes were won by Terry Beaumont, Rick Harris, Kath Evans, Evelyn Exton, Clive Edwards, Roger Kerrigan, Don Smith Phyllis Lewis, Mario Battenti and Sue Holdaway.
CHURCH - The annual whist drive in aid of St Mary’s Church is in the village hall on Tuesday, starting at 7.45pm. Despite inclement weather, the Christmas market held in the church and the marquee was a great success, thanks to contributors and everyone who turned out to support it.
