Council responds to critical Ofsted report into child safeguarding

Highly critical report into child safeguarding in the county finds all areas of protection procedure are inadequate.            

The report reveals the findings of a snap Ofsted inspection into Herefordshire Council's child safeguarding carried out last month.

At a press conference now underway, Jo Davidson, the council's head of child services has said  turnover and "change" amongst social work teams has been an issue relating to the findings.
