I DESPAIR at some of the intolerant views held by readers of this paper.

If two people who happen to be of the same sex wish to make a long term commitment to each other through marriage, what business is it of anybody else's?

Or, if members of a religion wish to practice their beliefs in the privacy of their own place of worship, something perhaps taken for granted by Christians, how can you object?

These actions are hurting nobody.

We are supposed to live in a free, tolerant and equal society, but clearly some Herefordians would prefer that not to be the case.
