POOL TOURNAMENT - The Paul Cox memorial pool tournament, held at the Tarrington Arms by kind permission of Phil and Sian Atkins (landlord and landlady), raised a magnificent £1,500 which will be divided between St Michael’s Hospice and summer activities for the children of the village. TULIP TEA - On Saturday, there will be a ‘tulip tea’ at Tarrington Court. Visitors will have a chance to view some of the 40,000 spring bulbs that have been planted. The event will take place between 2.30pm and 5pm. Tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £3 for under-16s. Proceeds to Tarrington Church. Parking and refreshments are to be found at Tarrington Community Hall. FRIENDSHIP CLUB - Today the Friendship Club (over 60s) pay a visit to Burford House Gardens at Tenbury Wells.
