NEW traders are snapping up stands at Kington Show.

Bookings are going well, with little space left in the craft and food marquees, reports secretary Clare Edwards.

Livestock schedules are now available for entries for horses, cattle, sheep and poultry and there will be sections for vegetables, fruit and flowers, domestic and children’s classes, as well as a dog show.

A fund-raising event will be held on Sunday, August 15 , in a marquee at Parkgate near Lyonshall by invitation of Mr and Mrs Bryan Layton.

Tickets, at £15, can be booked through Kathryn Williams on 01544 230464.

Special arrangements have again been made by Event Mobility to make it easier for the disabled, elderly and those with a mobility difficulty to attend the show.

Powered wheelchairs and electric scooters will be available thanks to a grant from Kington Town Council and should be booked in advance on 01386 725391 or eventmobility.org.uk
