THREE early years practitioners from Herefordshire have presented their research at a European conference.

Karen Campbell, a childminder in Much Dewchurch , Jo McLellan, a centre worker at Widemarsh Children’s Centre in Hereford, and Gaynor Corrick, early years rural and city pre-school manager in Hereford, are all students on the University of Worcester’s early years foundation degree.

All three were recently invited to share their research at the European Early Childhood Research Association Conference (EECERA) in Portugal.

The women had been working in early years before deciding to embark on a degree. Their studies are being funded by Herefordshire Council  and all three are planning to top up to a full degree upon completion of the foundation qualification.
