ONE of the most talked about stars from this year's X Factor wowed a packed Hereford nightclub during the early hours of this morning.

Wagner, who courted a lot of controversy on the popular ITV1 show through his unique style of pop, sang two operatic songs at Play nightclub before doing a medley of Ricky Martin's She Bangs and Love Shack by The B52s.

The 54-year-old, real name Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, also brought along some bongos, which went down a storm amongst a packed audience.

He did not come on until 1.50am this morning, due to him appearing at other venues across the country earlier in the night, but many clubbers cheered throughout his 15 minute set and posed for photographs with him.

Wagner then stayed at the Bluecoat Street venue until 3am, where he chatted to some guests, saying that he enjoyed his performance.

Fellow X Factor contestant Katie Waissel was also due to appear, but had to pull out as she could not travel from an earlier gig at Cardiff due to the bad weather.
