Couple must move out of Llangrove home

AN ELDERLY widow who has not spoke to her daughter and son-in-law for almost a decade has won the right to turn the ageing couple out of the farmhouse they share.

Eileen Cook, 92, occupies the south end of Tretawdy Farm, Llangrove, while her only child, Pauline, 60, and son-in-law Wyndham Thomas, 76, live at the other end.

But, since 2002, not even a polite word has passed between them and Mrs Cook has been battling to get her daughter and son-in-law out of the house.

And today she was granted her wish by Appeal Court judges.
