EASTNOR Castle is hosting a special zip wire event tomorrow to raise money for charity.

Fundraisers will plummet 150ft from the top of the castle to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

A team from pr agency apt marketing have raised more than £1,000 in sponsorship for four staff members to hurl themselves off a tower and over a lake before landing on the other side.

Angie Petkovic, apt managing director, said: “Initially we hoped to raise £450, enough to provide one full day’s care for one child, but we have been so overwhelmed with generous donations that we extended our target to £1000.”
