A MINI-HEATWAVE is due to hit Herefordshire by the end of the week - with 25C possible on Saturday (October 7).
The average daytime temperatures in the UK for October are usually around 13C, but this could almost double. How high it will be on Saturday varies, with the Met Office forecasting 21C.
However, the BBC says it could hit 23C, while weather.com thinks it could reach as high as 25C.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "As we head towards the end of the week warm or very warm air is likely to be drawn up from the south across the UK pushing temperatures well above average for the time of year, particularly for southern areas of the country, where some places may reach the mid 20's."
The record temperature for October was set in 2011, with an unseasonably warm 29.9C.

A much brighter day with sunny spells and a chance of showers. These may be heavy at times, especially this morning, but they'll become increasingly isolated later this afternoon. Rather windy, and feeling fresher. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight:
Most places staying dry this evening and overnight, but a few showers remain possible. Clear periods are likely at times and the winds will ease. Turning cooler than of late. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Wednesday:
Mostly dry with sunny spells on Wednesday, although a few showers are possible, though these lighter than on Tuesday. Breezier by the afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Generally dry on Thursday, albeit quite cloudy with some bright spells. More in the way of sunshine on Friday and Saturday, and becoming unseasonably warm for October by the weekend.
