A man has been assaulted near the Castle Pool duck pond in Hereford.
The man was sitting in a grassed area near the pond in Cantilupe Street when he was approached by two men.
One is described as 6ft 3inches and wearing a black jacket and the other 5ft 10inches wearing a grey and white horizontally striped top.
Following an aggressive conversation during which the two men demanded money they assaulted the lone man and ran away from the area.
