Heather Stanning winning Gold for Great Britain last summer
OLYMPIC gold medal rower Heather Stanning officially opened Whitbourne’s new village store on the weekend.
Hundreds turned out to welcome the MBE-winning star athlete to the shop that is run and staffed entirely by volunteers.
The Big Lottery’s Local Food programme put forward £250,000 to help the project.
