SHOWING in The Courtyard’s three art spaces from tomorrow (Friday) until September 1, The Picturemakers is a collective of visual artists, based in mid-Wales and coming from a variety of backgrounds and environments.
Their work ranges from the representational to the abstract, with an emphasis on an engagement with the natural world and the landscape in all its forms.
The group is currently limited to 15 active members drawn from throughout mid-Wales, and since their foundation in 2006 they have held 26 exhibitions, with several more scheduled for this year. As well as exhibiting their work the group is committed to supporting each other through regular discussions of work in progress.
