FORMER Pegasus Juniors skipper Bobby Aldrich and Hereford United youngster Joel Edwards have joined Westfields.

Aldrich had spent the second part of last season at Gloucester City while 18-year-old Edwards was released by United after failing to break into the first team.

The duo are expected to make their home debuts for Westfields in Saturday’s Dennis Hartland Memorial Trophy match against Swindon Supermarine, kick-off 3pm.

Goals from Carl Morgan and trialist Troy Wood helped Westfields to a 2-0 victory at Hellenic League Premier Division side Fairford Town on Saturday but Fields went down 2-1 at Stourport on Tuesday despite a goal from Jamie Addis.
