WESTFIELDS have appointed a new pair to manage their Hereford Times Herefordshire League Premier Division team.
Steve Higgins and Anthony Rivett have replaced last season’s management duo of Mark Hopkins and Derek Craddock.
Westfields chief executive Andy Morris said: “We are delighted that Steve and Anthony are going to manage our Premier Division side.
“They intend to have a mixture of youth and experience in their side and we plan to provide a platform of good youngsters to progress our Midland Alliance team.”
Hopkins and Craddock led Westfields’ Premier Division side to four titles in a record-breaking 2008/09 campaign.
Westfields’ first team have arranged pre-season friendlies against: Fairford Town (away), Saturday, July 24; Stourport Swifts (away), Tuesday, July 27; Leominster Town (away), Thursday, July 29; Swindon Supermarine (home), Saturday, July 31; Slimbridge (home), Tuesday, August 3.
Westfields’ players report back to allpay.park for pre-season training on Sunday, July 4.
