2:22pm

West Brom take the lead on 62 minutes.
Some poor defensive work by Radford allows Jones to get around the back and he pulls the ball across goal for Wesley Atkinson to slide home.

2:20pm

O’Keefe, however, misses a good chance to restore the lead, shooting weakly with his left foot after a good build-up.

2:15pm

Walker, who is looking a lively substitute, drills a shot just over on 57 minutes.

2:08pm

A fierce drive by Dan Walker sees Hereford looking to step up a gear with three half-time replacements.

1:45pm

Hereford looked to have regained the lead on 40 minutes when Smith latched on to an Artus free-kick to level from close-range.
The goal was initially awarded but in the end referee David Eaton over-ruled linesman Dave Sallis to give an offside decision.

1:42pm

O’Keefe almost repeated his earlier trick from a carbon-copy move a couple of minutes later but, on this occasion, from a header, the ball went wide of the far post.

1:40pm

Hereford were caught out at the back, however, on 38 minutes, when Alex Jones stole in to level the scores in almost the visitors’ first real attack.

1:29pm

Hereford take the lead on 26 minutes with a spectacular strike from O’Keefe.
Rankine flicks on a Bush long-throw and the Bulls skipper scores from 15 yards with a flying left-foot volley.

1:25pm

Hereford are dominating play without looking seriously likely to score although O’Keefe nods wide from a long throw by Bush.

1:24pm

Rankine has another half-chance on 20 minutes, speeding on to an astute through ball from Artus but seeing keeper Jack Rose smother at his feet.

1:10pm

On seven minutes, Hereford twice have great chances to score.
Brown picks out Rankine with his cross but the big striker misses the ball which runs through to Pilkington whose shot is charged down for a corner.

1:06pm

In a late change to the starting line-up, Oscar Radford takes the place of Rod McDonald.

1:05pm

Hereford force an early corner, followed quickly by a second. Artus’ two crosses are easily cleared.

12:51pm

FORMER York striker Michael Rankin was named in the Hereford starting line-up as one of four triallists.
Ex-Grimsby and Cheltenham midfielder Frankie Artus, ex-Telford wideman Jon Brown and former Torquay full-back Danny Leadbitter were the other three.
With the West Brom first-team on tour in Austria, the Baggies squad comprised members of their under-21 set-up.
HEREFORD: Lloyd-Weston; Leadbitter, McDonald, Collins, Bush; Pilkington, Artus, O’Keefe, Brown; Smith, Rankin. Subs: Radford, James, Purdie, Edwards, Sharp, Walker, Bowen, Murphy, Kontic-Koveney, Evans.
West Brom: Rose, Francis, Garnston, Birch, Atkinson, Jones, Wedderburn, Hayes, Jones, Ward, Mendy. Subs: Pace, Palmer, Maduako, Howkins, Oldnall, Leko.

Twas an interesting game.
Once the Baggies kids stopped panicking and they settled down a bit they were technically and tactically rather good.

Hereford should have put the game to bed in the first 20 mins.
Bush looked good.
O Keefe's goal was fantastic and showed excellent technique, although he still hasn't learnt how to tackle and defend.

With Graham at the back it would have been 1 - 0 to Hereford.
