HEREFORDSHIRE League Division Two outfit Sinkums have agreed to play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Hereford United on Wednesday.

Sinkums play their home matches at Widemarsh Common in Hereford.

They are managed by Tony Chadwick and gained promotion from Division Three last term.

Sinkums' player Ben Morrison has Tweeted: 'Can't wait to play @HerefordUnited1 next week'.

Hereford United, who are now being managed by Jon Taylor, are in action tomorrow, travelling to Bolton to face Eagley in a pre-season friendly.

The Hereford Times has asked Eagley for a statement on tomorrow's match amid a boycott from members of Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST).

HUST will be staying away from the club after 95% of members, polled, voted in favour of a boycott of the Bulls.

I saw a Sky TV van heading south on Holmer Road today. Any chance it was on its way to Edgar Street to cover this game as part of its live coverage?

Please Note: all players & fans to access Widemarsh Common via the road that has been tarmaced off Newtown Road
Anyone accessing Widemarsh Common via Chave Court Close will be charged £5 per vehicle to help costs of maintaining and fixing the pot holes, also the surrounding broken fence on the common and the brick wall that has nearly been pushed over fronting the flats at Chave Court which have been broken by people parking vehicles who need a visit to spec-savers

Good try but anyone who's car is damaged by the pot holes will be able to make a claim for costs through Herefordian who has taken responsibility for the area. lol
