HEREFORD United’s goalkeeping jinx looks to have struck again.
Teenage Hungarian international stopper Peter Gulacsi has an injured knee.
He is a doubt for tomorrow’s League 1 relegation clash at Hartlepool United.
Gulacsi, who is on loan from Liverpool, said: “I started to feel pain in the back of my knee on Wednesday morning. I want to play on Saturday but the decision will be with Liverpool. I have been playing a lot of games and, of course, it’s a new experience for my body. I think it’s just a reaction to playing a lot of games in a short space of time.”
Jose Veiga is poised to take over from the 18-year-old in a season which has also seen Darren Randolph, Craig Samson, Matt Murray and Chris Weale play in goal for Hereford.
Gulacsi has been outstanding since arriving at Hereford in February and is remaining upbeat about United’s chances of League 1 survival.
"We have to keep our belief and we have two games in hand. We are playing teams around us in the table like Hartlepool, Brighton and Yeovil. We have to keep fighting and working hard. We want to stay in this league.”
