FORMER Greyhound girls Izzy Noel-Smith and Laura Keates are in the England Women's squad to face Canada in their opening game of the Super Series Tour today.
Noel-Smith has been handed the number seven jersey by ex-Luctonians coach Scott Bemand, while Keates will be looking to come off the bench and win her 50th cap.
Following tonight's encounter at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah, England will face France on Tuesday before rounding off the Series against hosts USA next Saturday (July 9).
England and Canada played each other in last year’s Super Series, with England narrowing securing a 14-15 victory at Ellersie Park in Edmon
“The team have acclimatised well in Utah since arriving," said Bemand.
"The heat is an obvious factor to get used to but it is the same for everyone out here.
“We are looking forward to getting the first game underway.
"Canada will provide us with some tough opposition, as will France and the USA next week, but that is what we came for and what we need if we are going to develop and improve as a side.”
All of England's matches will be boradcast live at 10pm BST on therugbychannel.tv
