LEDBURY rattled in 15 tries in an astonishing 97-0 win over relegated Pershore in their last home match in Midlands 3 West (South) on Saturday.

The county side were missing five or six key players, including captain Rob Anscomb, but it did not matter as Ledbury were rampant throughout the game.

Straight from the kick-off, it was all Ledbury and they went into the half-time break 47-0 ahead.

Full-back Matt Hallett scored four tries, winger Arron James two and impressive Seam Seabourn one, with George Bennion converting six of them.

The second half was also one-way traffic, with Hallett and James getting two more tries.

Further tries came from Ben Smith, Chris Stokes, Kev Murphy and Ali Park, rounding off a very impressive performance.

Bennion ended with 18 points from the boot, with Stokes and Hallett also converting a try.

Ledbury travel to Rugby Lions this Saturday in their final league match of the season.

Promotion is now out of reach for Ledbury, but they can still dent Rugby's hopes of going up with a win if the other fixture between Southam and Evesham goes against them.

It was also a good day for Bromyard, who comfortably beat Market Drayton 32-10 in Midlands 4 West (North).

Man-of-the-match Will Pudge led the way with two tries, helping his side to a bonus point win.

Bromyard opened their account with an unconverted try from Tom Morris before Market Drayton took the lead.

But Pudge restored Bromyard's advantage and another try by John Parker opened up a 17-7 lead at half time.

After the interval the away side converted a penalty only for Bromyard to run away with the game.

Further tries came from Henry Roper, Jamie Gibbons and Pudge.

Meanwhile, Hereford are through to the North Midlands Colts Cup final after beating Luctonians 10-5.

Rees Proctor opened the scoring with a try after 18 minutes before Lucs had a player yellow carded.

Zac Webb then touched down to increase Hereford's lead before Luctonians reduced the deficit near the end of the game.
