LUCTONIANS held on for a vital win against Leicester Lions in National League 2 North today.
At a muddy Mortimer Park, Jimmy Norris scored the all important try to secure the 11-10 win, with Louis Silver also kicking over two penalties.
The win leaves Lucs third from bottom in the division, five points from safety.
Elsewhere, Hereford slipped to a 27-10 defeat to high-flying Stratford-upon-Avon in Midlands 1 West, Ledbury hammered Shipson-on-Stour 53-0 in Midlands 3 West (South) and Greyhound went down to a 25-14 defeat to St Leonards in Midlands 5 West (North).
Bromyard's Midlands 4 West (North) game against Telford Hornets was postponed, as was Ross-on-Wye's Gloucester 2 game against Cotham Park.
