Ross on Wye 22 pts Cotham Park 0
ROSS cemented second place in Gloucester 2 after going into the festive break on the back of a conclusive win.
The home side took the lead through a try from Joe Brearly and extended their lead before the interval with a second score from Tom Davies, improved by Huw Bellamy, before the break.
The visitors did their best to hit back after the break but Ross went further ahead with a Bellamy penalty.
And the south Herefordshire side added a fine team score when scrum-half Marcus Barnard was put clear to score under the posts.
Bellamy's conversion wrapped up a fine success.
Ledbury also went into the mid-season break in a happy frame of mind after a comprehensive 44-10 Midlands Three West (South) victory at Shipston on Stour.
It was an unhappy afternoon, however, for the two county sides in Midlands Four West (North).
Bromyard were beaten 20-10 at Yardley and District while Greyhound remain in trouble, one place from the bottom of the table, after a 27-19 reverse at Rugeley.
