A 12-YEAR-OLD girl earned three bronze medals at the British Transplant Games.
Kiera Jackson, from Leominster, competed in her fifth Games and came third in long jump, a relay race and an obstacle one.
She was competing for Birmingham Children's Hospital after undergoing a liver transplant there in 2010.
"She had a virus and at the time is was unknown what the course was," said Kiera's dad Mark Jackson.
"We took her to hospital and she was put on the urgent transplant list.
"She had the transplant at Birmingham Children's Hospital and we were told about the British Transplant Games.
"This year it was in Newcastle and was Kiera's fifth Games.
Kiera, who goes to Earl Mortimer College, helped the hospital win best overall children's team for the 19th consecutive year.
She also met television personality Jeremy Kyle, who was there to cheer the competitors on.
