CAPTAIN’S Day at Herefordshire Golf Club saw Ray Bayliss welcome no fewer than 172 starters, with junior captain Connor Millin and Jon Devereux claiming the top prizes.
Millin won the net stableford with 45 points, ahead of Dave Pearson on 44 and Mark Bloxham on 43, while Devereux was the gross winner on 35 points from Jon Lucas on 34.
The Ladies’ winner over 13 holes was Karen Derby with 25 points.
In the Ladies Foursomes Cup at Herefordshire GC, Jo Ellam and Jeanette Duncalfe emerged triumphant with a net 72. Second were Iris Corfield and Sue Powell on 75.5.
And in the Fathers and Sons Foursomes Cup, over 13 holes, Cameron and Dave Pearson took the honours with a net 43.9 ahead of Jake Smallwood and Marie Parrey on 45.8
