HEREFORDSHIRE sportswoman Irie Hill has celebrated a string of triumphs in a remarkable weekend.
Hill started her weekend at Melbourne University in Australia where she set a new world record in the pole vault.
She sailed over at a new world record of 3.75m in the W40 and then shot off to the Victorian Masters in Murrumbeena where she achieved further success.
Hill jumped 1.55m to set a new W40 state high jump record and took gold in the high jump.
She then threw 9.01m in the shot putt to secure a second gold medal at the Masters.
Hill returned to Murrrumbeena on Sunday where she jumped 9.80m to win the triple jump crown.
“I have some great competition opportunities coming up, and I am especially looking forward to training and competing in Perth next month,” she said.
