JOSH Hunt hit a hat-trick as Wellington claimed a stunning 6-0 win against high-flying Smethwick in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.
Derek Williams' side opened the scoring in the 10th minute when Hunt headed home Matt Williams' cross before Andy Price doubled the advantage thanks to some good work from Adam Newbury and Will Perkins.
Hunt scored again after being sent clear by Luke Winter and captain Price made it 4-0.
There was still time for Wellington to score a fifth goal in an extraordinary first half performance thanks to a rare header from Matt Williams.
The game dropped off in the second half, but the home side did score again through Hunt, which sealed his hat-trick.
Pegasus Juniors, meanwhile, fell to a 2-0 home reverse to Ellesmere Rangers.
Hereford Lads Club still look unstoppable at the top of Division One and have now won 14 games out of 14.
Dan Herbert grabbed a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Team Dudley last Saturday, with Tom Harding also on target.
Elsewhere, struggling Kington Town and Bromyard Town fell to 3-1 and 2-0 defeats to Darlaston Town and Newport Town respectively.
