A COUNTY girl finished equal sixth in the under-10 category at the British Schools Biathlon Championships.
Anqelique Abberley accumulated a final points tally of 2,438 after recording a personal best time of 38.78 seconds in the 50m freestyle swim.
She also ran the 800m in two minutes 58 seconds, eight seconds below her personal best due to having to contend with a strong wind.
Angelique's parents, Mark and Steph Abberley, currently live in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, but used to live in Weobley.
Mark, a former Hereford Sixth Form student, is the chief executive officer for Boxing England and Steph was the 100m and 200m Youth Sprint Champion of Mauritius.
