A HEREFORD athlete is celebrating after winning a silver medal at the largest indoor sporting event in the country.
Susie Willmott, aged 64, was competing in the Concept2 British Indoor Rowing Championships with more than 2,000 other competitors.
Racing over 2,000m on the Concept2 Indoor rower, her time of 8 mins 50.1 secs earned the silver medal in the women's 60-64 lightweight category.
The event, held at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena, was watched by more than 7,000 people with competitors ranging from Olympians to war veterans.
