Leominster Ladies are still in with a chance of clinching the West Clubs’ Women’s League North Division championship after a 2-2 draw with top club Gloucester 2nd.
The north Herefordshire club trail the leaders by three points but, while Gloucester have completed their programme, Leominster still have one match to play.
Leominster had to battle back for a draw against the league leaders after falling two goals adrift.
To make matters worse, Karen Hackley was hit in the face by the ball in the first few minutes and got a black eye.
Leominster’s fight-back began when Michelle Ruff scored from a short-corner move instigated by Holder and Liz Ranft.
And it was Ranft who scored the equaliser when her deflected shot found the net after another Holder short-corner.
In Premier 2, Hereford finished the season in eighth place after a 2-1 win at basement-club Cheltenham 2nd in the final round of matches.
