LEOMINSTER were held to a 1-1 in an evenly matched Davis Wood League North Conference clash with visiting Whitchurch 2nd.
Leominster made a bright start and had a couple of good chances before Whitchurch opened the scoring from a well-worked short corner routine.
The home side piled on the pressure and continued to create chances even when they went down to 10 men.
They eventually equalised with a Harry Ellis flick and seemed unlucky to have a potential winner ruled out for a foot in the build-up.
Hereford were beaten for the first time this season when they went down 3-2 at Lansdown in De Cymru and Marches 1.
Hereford levelled through Hamish Cameron after an early Lansdown goal but Kyle Drew's late strike was only a small consolation after two second-half Lansdown goals.
