GOLFERS representing Hereford FC scooped more silverware to put in the Edgar Street trophy cabinet when they putted their way to victory in the Hereford Times golf day.
The team made up of Nigel Edmondson, Stephen Hughes, Rob Bullock and Geoff Thomas putted their way to victory at the Herefordshire Golf Club.
They came out on top in last Friday's tournament, leaving Andrew Morris estate agents in second and Sunderlands in third.
Andrew Johnson, from Humfry's and Symonds, took the longest drive for a remarkable hit on the 11th while Will Lloyd, from Sunderlands, scooped the prize for nearest the pin.
Hosted by Helen Palmer, head of media sales at the newspaper, and property manager Jenny Burgess, the day also raised £115 for the Haven through a raffle.
