LEOMINSTER GC's club championships saw four different trophies contested but defending champion Kevin Gibbons hold on to the principal prize.

Gibbons shot 72 on the second round to achieve 142 for the two days, beating Roger Richards (147) into second place. Andy Merrick, with rounds 79 and 74, was third.

Roger Richards and Mike Graves are the LGC qualifiers for the Fullers London Pride Gold Medal.

Amateur golfer Tom Betteridge, from Holme Lacy, has qualified for an Audi quattro Cup UK Regional Final golf tournament this summer.

Betteridge narrowly won the South Hereford Audi Invitational at Burghill Valley GC with a score of 37-points in the Stableford rules matches over 18 holes.

The top finishers will now pair up in a regional final at the St Pierre Golf Club in Chepstow on August 7.
